trapped
this is her worst nightmare
her biggest fear
but why is she here?
not again, not this
does happiness exist?
will she find eternal bliss?
she doesn't know what it means
her life isn't what it seems
and yet she can't leave
she wears her heart on her sleeve
and dances around on this beautiful eve
she hides away her tortured soul
she may not reach her ending goal
she feels indifferent, on the whole
it's not like before
she just walks out the door
no longer breaking is her heart
her life no longer falling apart
but what she did wasn't smart
she isn't sure where she belongs
her home is calling all along
but no one hears her bitter song
tears falling from her eyes
she doesn't know the truth from lies
she tries to cover up her pain
all her attempts have been in vain
but she doesn't know what she can gain
she wants to go back home
she walks back alone
her faith in herself has grown
she knows she needs to do this
after all, home is where the heart is
