Trapped

I need freedom

To run and never look back

I am selfish

I am kind

I am scared

These bitter tears in my eyes

They blind me from the world

I want to see

I want to live

I need to run

What pain would I cause

Just leave this all behind

Live in a new world

Breathe

All the things I can't do here

I don't want success

I dont want riches

I dont want fame

Here I am trapped

Things I don't want

My future decided

Paid for with love

Accepted by guilt

I am pathetic

I am lonley

I am ashamed

There is never anything I can do right

You accuse me of living in a fantasy

And I say to you that fantasy lets me fight

I want to leave

I need to leave

I can't leave

I am a coward

I want to be better

I need to be better

And yet change seems so far away

I am lost
