Trapped and set free

Trapped inside this house Restricted with these rules Feeling like a mouse Surrounded by all these schools Making many decisions Pressured by the people around me Having all these visions Trying to let things be Waking up inside Realizing my surroundings No longer needing to hide Or listen to these soundings I have been set free With my entrance to college It is the key To the higher knowledge Things are starting to change I am now on my own Exploring all that was strange Not at all that alone Having my friends Ready to tackle the world Until the very end No more thoughts that are swirled I was trapped and set free On the road to getting my degree
