Trapped Deer


The simple sayings seem stuck inside like a bird in a cage I need a moment to retrieve them but Time never stops for me. He keeps running and I never catch Him. Please, wait! You know I am not a cheetah; I am a deer: Beautiful, Graceful, Lost. I see the road beyond the lights but I cannot get there. Someone help me, teach me I am more than my frozen eyes...
