Trapped in an Hourglass

In a perfect world, It is hard to be flawless...

Yet we spend our seconds, our minutes,

our hours, our days, our months,

and our years...worrying

and trying so hard

to be just that.

Flawless.

But,

when I

wake up,

and look myself

in the eye, with every

bit of honesty I can muster,

I can see that I am just the person

that I need to be:  With a Loving Heart

and an Open Mind, the wind will carry me

where it will. Because with my imperfections,

comes an everlasting beauty that no perfect being

can hold onto for very much time at all, though one will try.

I am not flawLESS but flawFULL. I am original. I am unique. The world cannot change me,

But I CAN change IT.

In an imperfect world,

it is hard to be flawless.

We spend our seconds,

 our minutes, our hours,

our days, our months,

and our years...worrying

and trying so hard to

understand Why we

ever tried so hard

to be just that.

Flawless.
