Trapped Inside My Head

This place, it is utterly silent. My own screams won't sound. This place, it is utterly still. The stagnant air doesn't move. This place, it goes on forever. The more I run, the farther I get. This place, not one thing is different. It is all the same, as far as it goes on. This place, it is filled with sorrow. It engulfs me and swallows me down. I can't leave, this is where I belong.
