Trapped in the Past

I have been gone too long,

living in the past.

Trapped by all the mistakes,

I have ever made.

Remembering everytime,

I let someone down.

But it is time to move on,

to live in the present and dream of the future.

I have been trapped in my past,

and I have finally let it go.
