Trauma

Unwanted hands

On my skin

My first instinct

Help me

Wait...

I technically asked for it

I'm going to be blamed

It's not going to for that long

What did I just feel?

Earning a glare

I'm not safe

Why did he do that?

It's my fault

I did this to myself

That's the sibling of my best friend

They would never believe me

Names forming in the back of my mind

Slut, whore, bitch, atention seeking

I guess you could say that's where my depression started

Trying to resolve on my own

Trying to wash his touch off of me

This is my core

Marring myself

Maiming and coping

This is my issue

My trauma

Thank you so much. What you have said makes it all the easier to get through another day. I hope that you can find the strength in my words to live by (any of my poems that I may have already posted or may post in the future) and to continue to fight.

I LOVE this poem. I deal with truama too. I know how you feel and you ant' alone even if it feels like you are. I would describe truama as like pouring ink into some ones soul. and I feel like it is my fault to have to deal with it. its like a judgement. I am a dude, so I dont unerstand fully how you feel, but I deal with extreme childhood neglect and abuse and it like almost rules my life, and I cant trust any one, even though i'm away from that now. I really hope that you overcome your struggles. your poem was an encuragement to me. I hope I have encouraged you.
