Traveler at heart
I am a traveler at heart.
I wonder how the world looks through other's eyes.
I hear the music of lost cultures.
I see the plane waiting to depart.
I want to give in, to my wanderlust.
I am a traveler at heart.
I pretend that I am a gypsy.
I feel like it's time to ditch this town.
I touch my hand to the other and pray.
I worry about getting stuck in the same place.
I cry because the days pass too slowly.
I am a traveler at heart.
I understand life is like a dream.
I say everyday is a gift.
I dream on leaving this suburban nightmare.
I try to be an idealist.
I hope my dreams become reality.
I am a traveler at heart.
