Traveling memory lane...

Late night musings.. Traveling the memory lane Rushed back a healed pain Smiled at the mistake learned Though the betrayal still burned Thought you were different Mistook it, for you were just indifferent True you came along as rare So I did, exposing myself bare You mocked my vulnerability I knew, you were no liability But What does a bare body do? Catch on the tiny heat it gets. Pity! the soul trying to hide in the open You were no where in sight so I run Where you'll no longer appear Though you will never care dear.
