Trav's Love Story

I saw this female on Main St. Took a glance, and then looked away. Caught her eye with my gold chain It must've been our lucky day. Headed towards the new building We were walking at the same pace She gave me a final glance Though we were headed to the same place Now it's 9:00 and I have class Next to me was her best friend Instigating, hyping me up With the same old news again She likes you Trav, she really does Where's the proof to prove it? Don't you see the signs my man These signs are so confusing Don't mistake my love for weakness I hope you don't abuse it And lie with all these false signs Or my last response is deuces. All these things run through my mind At 12:00 I see this girl I start to blurt out foolishness Like shawty gimme a kiss girl At that point I lost it It turns out she didn't like me Mistakes or friends? It's over now The odds are always likely. There's no chance for us, no table for two Or me just making your night I'm just not perfect enough So much for tryna make this alright It was worth a fight.
