Treasure Chest

I used to be just a box

old, dusty, and brown.

Empty, usless and stubborn as an ox.

I would just float around without making a sound

Years passed and I began to collect things

Love, patience, and an urgency to care.

These rocks in me helped me find my voice and sing.

As i sung, they began to transform, causing people to stop and stare.

More rocks in the box: honesty, confidence, and respectfulness.

Red rubies, shiny diamonds and gold.

I used to be full of emptiness

Now i've become a sight to behold

I look at how far i've come,I used to be a mere shell.

I've learned so many things and have developed into my very best.

Im literally growing now and everyone can tell.

I'm proud of who ive become, a bueatiful, remarkable, extraordinary treasure chest.
