Treasures Within Me

Expert?

Expert at nothing.

I am not perfect but perfectly imperfect.

I've lost many friends

But the true ones have stayed.

I am told I'm a great player by

Fans,

Teammates

& coaches

But they are the only ones who see it.

My first leather softball glove has stayed with me

Through my childhood.

At times I forget my accomplishments

And focus on my mistakes.

All I want is to be happy in the future

But without the help of my

Family,

Best friend

& God

I would not be who I am today.
