The Tree

Once in my life I want to grow a tree

I want to plant it in the ground on my own

I know it won't happen with my heart of stone

When I finally get to that shoreline with the key

I will be o so joyful when I see the boat

full of water that will help me float

I am the tree, but I cannot grow on my own

I need some help from some friends with love
