The Tree

The tree's shadow slowly rotates.

I sigh.

I wipe my face.

It has been far too long.

My soul is heavy.

My heart aches.

I am hollow.

I turn away from the window... the pain rips at my soul.

Tears fall.

I'll watch the tree tomorrow.

Waiting.
