to the tree engraved in my ankle

To the tree that is engraved in my ankle,

You did not ask to be put there

But i did ask for you to sit there

You serve a great purpose

You have a meaning that is two complicated for other to understand

You see we share this secret between you and i

You resemble so many things

You are a reminder of so many memories

And for that i thank you

Thank you for keeping our secret between us
