The Tree With Hands

I always wondered, if trees could take on human traits. As I sat under the tree with the long and enveloping branches, I felt the urge to stare. I wondered if the tree would reach out to me or if it would stay as it was, flowing in the wind. The hands would keep me in the shade, which I was thankful for.
