A Tree of Life

The tree stands through the day

It stands through the night

The tree moves with the wind

It grows with the light

If I knew that I could as well

carry on with life in such a way

Living on the purpose of being alive

And carry myself as I stay

I try finding places to rest

while life on its own hits my being

The tree it stands on windy days

It takes the hit without fleeing

I hope to take my own advice

I hope to see what I say

The tree sheds through seasons again

While I can change in only a day
