The tree that saved us all
ON THE TREE THAT SAVED US ALL
IT WAS DONE ON A HILL OF DEATH,
IT WAS DONE AFTER 30LASHES,
IT WAS DONE TO THE INNOCENT.
HE WAS SPIT ON,
HE FORCED TO CARY A HEAVY LAOD ON HIS TORN TENDER BACK,
HIS CLOTHES WERE GAMBLED ON,
HE HAD THORNS PRESSED INTO HIS HEAD AND MOCKED AS A KING.
THEY HAMMERD NAILS INTO HIS HANDS AND BASHED THEM INTO HIS FEET,
THEY JABBED HIS SIDE WITH A SPEAR,
THEY CLOSED HIM IN A TOMB THAT HE ROSE OUT OF THREE DAYS LATER.
HE WAS JESUS CHRIST SON OF GOD.
HE HUNG ON A CROSS FOR US,
HE HUNG ON THE CROSS TOSAVE US FROM HELL,
HE HUNG ON THE CROSS SO THAT IN HEAVEN WE COULD DWELL.
