The Trees

The trees webbed together in a mesh of branches and unfallen sticks A beautiful collage of things as spider web of chaos in natural canopy but squirrels and chainsaws the masters rather than arachnid queens On a warm spring day before the leaves brown webbing stretches high into clear blue sky Problems of today forgotten and laid to pleasant rest as my body in grass lays looking up, with the sun in periphery shining brightly, at the trees.
