The Trees

You start out as a seed

And grow into a tree

You give me the air i need

And the food to grow too

But not all of the trees do as you

No. Some are cut down

And sent to mills

Where they become many different things

Your dead friends become my friends too

in the books that i hold

And the paper i right on.

i Guess you could say I give you tattoos

So do not be sad when your time comes

you will have another purpose

Hopefully you will be my next favoite book

or someone elses

so plese listen when i say

that i really do love you

for i cant live without trees

and thier lovely tattoos
