trembling hatred

In shadows dark where restless spirits dwell, There brews a storm of passion's fierce embrace, An anger steeped in crimson, wild and raw, That rages like a tempest, fierce and bold, Unfurled upon the world with searing heat. It seeps through cracks of reason, finds its way Into the hearts of men, who toil with pain, And stoke the flames of ire that chill the bone, A bitter harvest planted in the soul— Desire for retribution, sharp and swift. A whispered slight ignites the fragile thread, A glance, a word, perceived with sharpened edge, And in an instant, lines are drawn in blood, Where once was peace, now rises vengeful ire, Its claws, a symphony of piercing screams. Oh, how the mind can twist to fit its needs, To forge an enemy from friend, a ghost From laughter cast away by fleeting scorn, And in that twisted marrow of despair, The heart becomes a crucible of wrath. Like vipers coiled in silence, hearts take flight— They strike with venom thick, in darkness hide, And yet the light of dawn cannot unveil The shadows meant to haunt our troubled thoughts. For every match that strikes against the night, A spark ignites, a fire far from peace. But lo, within that blaze, a thought abides, A flicker deep within the raging storm, What lies beyond this fury wrought in chains? A choice that carries weight beyond the fist, A whisper soft that quakes within the chest. To channel all this anger to a song, To rise above the shouts of primal calls, Transforming hate to learn the tender touch, To seek, amidst the strife, a path to grace— Could mercy bloom where once the blood ran thick? For madness thrives in corners dark and deep, Yet wisdom waits in patient, quiet strength. In every heart where anger dare to bloom, A seed of light can unfurl from the dark, A possibility of peace reborn. So let not murderous anger claim the night, But let it forge anew the bonds of hope. In harmony, the rage may find its worth, And cast aside the relics of our pain. Thus will we rise, as phoenix from the ash, Emerging bright, the chains of anger shed, Our hearts, now open wide, will embrace love, Transform the storm into a gentle breeze, Where once were shadows, sunlight will now reign, And from the wrath, a new creation bloomed. Remember then, the power that we hold, Within our souls, the strength of choice bestowed. For murderous anger need not seal our fate, But serve instead to illuminate the path, That leads us to the place where healing waits.
