Tremendous or So We Thought

Tremendous force not to be reckoned with; Protection is given to those of this country.

Though blood shed has no lifespan generations have lived, but have not learned.

Chaos within weakens it from inside out; Waitlisted laws sit at the bottom of agendas

allowing numerous deaths to pile up with no thought.

Partisans from corners of the world believing that if such a tremendous force must

use violence than it is the only way to win.

Signing promoting freedoms begin to be seen as hypocritical as they advertise opportunities

, not extended to those they have deemed different.

Young men and women enlisting to fight for people in other places,

 Back at home we have mass shooting sand murders, with no military protection.

As involvement in foreign affairs continue to arise,

Terrorist plots become expected violence becomes the norm.

Civilians turn on one another;

 Police begin using excessive force against the crowds who want justice.

The media using current events to show the country the terrors that happen within our borders.

How is it that we a nation built on freedoms can be a Tremendous force when

We can’t simply extend equal opportunities to everyone?
