Trend

All people do is follow
Like if their brains were just hollow
No originality
Just plurality
They look at me over their shoulder
As if they were bolder
But they don't realize they're just another
That cling on to a style to which they smother
Where did the leaders go?
Because all I see is people with the same 'show'
Swag, sneakers, SnapBacks
Unique is what lacks
In this lost generation
For kids can't find their true identification
So they end up copying the next
As if that person really was the best
Admiration turns into obsession
And then becomes 'biter-nation'
Now you see everyone having a smoke
Taking it as a joke
But it won't be when they choke
And end up with a stroke
Like if weed or a cigarette makes you cool
It just makes you look like a tool
That tries to fit in
But never gets the win
Apparently it's just a game of leader
And the boss acts like a mind reader
Knowing that everyone will follow
Asking that if his style they can borrow
That's why you're all pathetic
Because trends will never be genetic
So don't expect me to follow along
Because to me that's just wrong
