The Trevor Project

We try to run,

From the problems.

That shadow,

Our past that we have.

Sprinting,

As it continues to follow.

We try not to show,

Put that smile on.

The pain,

The stress builds up inside.

Soon,

It will all break down.

Bursting into flames,

Hurting the loved.

We try to run,

To get away.

Never concluding,

That this is who you are.

Pushing and grinding,

The unwanted down.

Holding a lie,

To the whole world;

Yourself.

The name's Trevor.
