Trialed
Push the pins deeper
Let the blood repent in the river
You’ve cried falsely into
Bury your feelings beneath the surface.
You will bare it with a smile or grimace
If you have to.
Bat your eyes, and shut your mouth.
Your manipulation is only good to mouth
Promises better left un-kept.
When your thunder smashed the shelf
The mirror cracked with the image of yourself,
I wonder how you slept
Soundly. You ventured off.
Loudly, we screeched, in the slime
Of your monstrous boredom
And the consequence of your crime.
