The Trials

Wed, 02/07/2018 - 11:15 -- Evanf

Just ten minutes ago I was rested well.

Now I am thinking about being done

Before I can get there I hear a cow bell.

I remember my qualification.

I am the best in the world without doubt

Nobody can beat me, I repeat this thought.

I stay calm not risking getting wore out.

As the end is nearing, I still uncaught

Just me me with the finish line, and the crowd

Whooping and hollering as I get close.

And there is my coach looking very proud.

I get done and go into my signature pose

Getting to the Olympics was always my dream

Now I am living it thanks to my team.
