Trials of The Wrong

How?

How can it be okay for someone to put down another?

How is it possible for such an act to go undercover?

As if there is no wrong here, as if the lives of the abused are not changed forever.

How can someone with such terrible acts go without punishment.

And why is it that the ones harmed are mearly kicked under the rug?

Back to their old lives, back to the loveless place that they came from,

Why is it that there is no one to help?

And when that someone does arrive and offer their hand, why is that person pushed away?

By the others that were thought to have right morals, by the adults that were believed to be against     such evil.

How can they disrespect us in such a way that the wrong person is punished?

That the only person who is willing to put a stop to this hatred is the one who can no longer

attend.

There must be exceptions and there must be a jury, for the trials that some face today may be

the cause of the forever fall tomorrow.

And with the ones who had come to help now gone, there is no hope. And who is to blame then?
