The Tribulation Maze

Tainted by distractions and a tad of guilt

Where will it take me, this multi-texture quilt

Life will rub you so many different ways

But I've seen enough to know that it pays

It's easy to get lost in the tribulation maze

Your next move will define you every time, but that does not mean it is simple to re-define one's self

Some will be caught staring at the walls

They will not make a move..not one move at all

It is those who take the maze and claim it to be theres

The ones who stand their ground when the weather's not fair

They will prosper

They will tear down those very walls of impregnable defense

They will emerge from the currents of deceit, and conquer the days that are so deplorable- not one word is said

Yes, it is easy to get lost in the tribulation maze

But the hard route proves true, it will strengthen your ways

This is what I have chosen

I have focused my gaze

This place is mine

I call it my own

And although never perfect

I call it my home

I claim this maze to be mine

Its many passages and turns have shaped me

We all have choices

And my struggle has made me

I will not wander to corners

Or let the voices of men lead me

My God was, always is, and will be

Make it what you will

We are all in our own

But not on our own
