Tribute to the Broken

To the broken hearted people who've learned to heal themselves.                                               This poem is a tribute to all that you've prevailed.       To the heart shattered into pieces.                        To the endless precession of days and nights filled with tears and screams.                                         To the pain and agony of seeing another day.               To the memories that have somehow managed to make it through these years.                                               To the loss of your innocence and the beginning of your sin.
This tribute is to all the people who've overcome life's worst lesson.                                             The people who wake up every morning knowing they're still here.                                                     And to those we look in sorrow, whose sorrow were lost at the blade or the barrel.                                 This is a tribute. Your one less statistic
