A Tribute to Color
Red.....Yes, it's a BOLD color,
Red.....Yes, it makes its own statement.
Red, like the Golden Gate Bridge or a leaf in the fall,
Red is a color you can like overall.
Orange.....Well, orange is orange,
Not much else rhymes,
We will have to skip orange this time.
Yellow.....Man it's so hard to see,
Yellow is not the color for me.
My eyes try real hard to glance at the color,
But when ever I look,
It goes under cover!
It seems invisible to me,
The sneaky color they call yellow,
He is quite a sneaky fellow.
Green.....Wow, green,
Now this is my color,
It is the color of frogs and trees.
When I see this color,
I think nature sings,
Purple.....oh dear, oh dear,
Oh where to begin,
Purple is a color you must like from within.
When I see some blue and some red,
Are people thinking like me or am I losing my head?!
Purple is a color you must like fron within,
So start looking,
And let purple in!
Blue.....I once blew my nose,
But thats not the same,
As the blue I will talk about in my blue game.
What is blue?
They sky is blue.
What is blue?
The Colombia River!
What is not blue?
The Mississippi River!
And it really should be too,
So keep it clean,
Reduce,
Reuse,
Recycle.
