A Tribute to my Father

Oh how I loved you so But I never really showed you though What I loved the most was your smile As I close my eyes I can see it for miles Oh, I remember how my mom use to say Just wait and see if he will let you have your way Although I was scared I knew that you would scold me because you cared I loved that joy that you had for life Which I know you cherish even afterlife Even if life did give you strife God blessed you with a good wife You left me so quick Yet so tragic That I still have anger Nevertheless I will conquer As I bear in mind That I am one of a kind I owe it to you Seeing I am your baby blue
