Tribute to Self-Portrait Poem
To think of ones self as another object such as a flute or even a rainy day,
To share that thought as personal as it is,
Described as a blizzard or a large scoop of ice-cream sundae.
The fact that they can say,
Paralyzing your thoughts,
In such a gentle way.
The tone that is shared,
Non-threatning and free.
Up on a mountain peak,
Or where ever you may be,
Described as high and cold,
To others like you and me.
To think as if, you're a thick black color indeed,
Where we are told, you can't see anything.
To share this alone in the vast darkness decribed,
Is to show others your brave,
And strong on the inside.
