Trigger Minded

Trying to keep you out of my mind

Isn't as easy as trying to unwind
on you I try to keep a blind eye
Seems like all I'm doing is living a lie
I try seeing you as the bad guy
Deep inside I find myself wondering why
I've convinced myself this is goodbye
Sometimes it's like my mind Is all intertwined
like there's something it's trying to find
It's like it has a mind of it's own
What makes you pop in my head
Everything's great then randomly my mind you over take
it's like something has triggered my mind
sometimes a word or just a song heard
Lately That's all it really seems to take
Then your memory floods like a gust of wind
I feel it as our promised words
As it takes away my breath
Wonder if one day I’ll ever reclaim my mind
maybe not until we've been intertwined
Will I be able to escape my wilted mind
Guessing I'll never find my peace within
Will my brain and heart ever be In sync again
Will I always feel as If I am born to give in
Hopefully my brain will show my heart not to cave in
It feels as if my heart the a lure
my brain is the only thing that keep's my heart from sinking in
I think to myself that it was he that creates my chaos
it was My name in the end that you never defended
I knew that i guessed it right,
In the end you're heart wasn't ready to fight till the end
what I can't figure out is why's my heart is so bent
that you were my only heaven sent
why can't I seem to tell my heart
that your only playing mind games
Yet it's my heart that's trying to burning the same
My head tells me oh it's such a shame
It’s my heart That is so easily to tame
it can't tell when it's about to get mamied
How can my head tell my heart it'll never be the same
Before too long I’ll drive myself in sane
it’s only myself that I'll have to blame
all because of love the lamest game
