Trip To Grandma's

Driving to grandma's on Sunday

Mom and I stay until Monday

Grandma's going to be so happy

But sometime it's a little too sappy

The ride there is always so long

But we always sing a great song

I hope we don't get a flat tire

Or even catch the car on fire

When we finally get there

I see her sitting in her chair

Her eyes light up with glee

When she finally see me

I will try not to cry

When it’s time to say goodbye

I give her a kiss

And hope she knows she will be missed
