Triumph

Proverbs 21:31 New English Translation (NET Bible)

A horse is prepared for the day of battle,
but the victory is from the Lord.

Triumph over sin is like a door.

A little push, a little shove and

one step you are in

Feeling satisfied with doing what is right

Celebrating the overcoming

of what could have been

Triumph over self is like a pathway

Stumbling and falling over obstacles

very painful as you walk

Relentless effort to just overcome

the zealous and religious self

The one with little action ... always lost in talk
