Triumph

people make mistakes it is in our nature to do-

but it is difficult to admit
when a big one was made by you-
no one is perfect
but when fighting to be-
the fight seems irrelevant
after mistakes one two and three-
you want to look past it
but you can't take it back-
fighting is forever
but mistakes will always attack-
we learn and live with regret
and we must go on fighting-
we are not undefeated
but the scores are not in writing-
each battle we face is really a new fight-
not counting the defeats
where your perfection was put aside-
if you have disappointed before
fret no more-
there will be a rematch to even the score-
smile smile smile
enjoy what about life keeps you grinning-
learn from the past
and you will never stop winning.
