Triumph in Temptation

Cool heart

Smooth as ice

Cold, like the middle of winter

Sing me the lullaby

As your rigid arms surround me

Whisper cooly, gently

Sing the song, and shield me from

The light lingering here

Let the temptations throw their punches, and win

Let them take me, let them wake me

Help me give in

I do not wish to try anymore

I do not want to win

If this is what it costs me,

If it costs me you

Oh, words

I see your pain

Taking its last breath

Talk with your eyes

Discern my soul

Find my weakness
