Trophy

Guided and trusting
He led me into dark places

Mindful of his hands
He guided me carefully

No thoughts of worry or care
I trusted him fully

His smile led me astray
Now I weep dreadfully

Soiled dove, hope fails
Soon I will hang dolefully

Upon rafter high
Because I trusted him fully

Lover betrayed my innocent heart
Now I hang as his trophy
