THE TROUBLE ONE

Oh for so long,

has my chest struggled,

my legs trembled,

my head ached.

The light that burns through the blinds

of my window mock me.

A quite mutter they say,

"You are just the same."

My breath hitched.

Just the same.

Do I know those words, just the same

I say this to myself again and again,

You are.
