Trouble Twisted

he left me there

wandering in and out

questioning who i was

overflowing my mind

he tore my heart out like a page in a book

he left me with no explanation

fatal, he was

I saw fire in his eyes

Dirt on his hands

Frankly, I loved his little white lies

Every word he spoke

I'd weaken

I'm all shook up

And you're the reason

Contemplating your smile

And the way you live life

Distracted by the bruises by his eyes

he was a metaphor

he never looked at me

i couldn’t see through him
i believed every word he breathed

but he was just blowing smoke

his silence was violent

his presence, never graceful

though i never thought i could love a ghost

but darling, you were much worse
