The Troubled

I long to be a hunter
To shoot your nightmares dead
I’d gladly take up shield and sword
To fight what’s in your head

A tortured soul with dreamers eyes
Who in the night trembles and cries

I only wish to grant you sleep
So I, myself, will cease to weep
