Troubled Decision

Vision of perfection Bathed in pristine light The only one of my kind that cannot be mine Blood pounding with desire but a wall of flame grows higher Separating me from you Dreams never to come true Dare I move, transverse this barrier? Fire is not kind. It burns. Renewal though it brings very rare it is In its quest, it only wishes to destroy. Dare I move, or let you slip?
