The trouble minded girl

Abandoned most of her life

Never seen father, drug addicted mother

Lost all the love and care for herself in just a twirl

Hid the love, care, and values but always put up a fight

Grandmother treated her as a ignorant fool that will always lose

Fought away depression by hanging with her friends

She just knows..... This will not be the end

She was like a rose with every strip of pedal being torn away

Every criticize every compliment made her consider to fight another day

Just a dove flying through a thunderstorm

As each struck was one guilt, fear or lie

For the love and no more criticize she finds a guy

But having a baby boy at 19 was one surprise

 

Book I : The Rhythm of Happiness

What am I going to do?

Fearful as a mans fear of his best friend dying in front of his eyes

This sleeping creature that will soon call you mom

There's only one way to choose

To listen to God because he tells no lies

This one you call son

Will be the one you look upon and call great

To get him out this forsaken place

Which one calls the ghetto

The conspiracy and emotional attacks led her into being homeless

Do I want this for his faint?

To go through the same things I had to come to?

Merely just a lone fish in a pool of sharks ready to take away his freedom

She will not, she WON'T let her son be unprepared for this act

But recognize it as it may be pursued

She had the dedication like Rocky Balboa had the dedication to beat Apollo Creed

The only one she could turn to was her friends and step father

Which gave her that guidance she needed

Coming from nothing..... Turning it into something

 

Book II: Decided Goals

Everytime she lacked the concentration to her goal

She looked in those little baby's eyes

And realized this is the time to do what is right

Once she looked in those baby's eyes she never hesitated what she has told

The ambition and greatness as what she must find

Having the fear that her son would doubt her if she failed

Have hatred upon her as having hatred upon a person taking away someone you've loved

As she starts to repeatedly hear doubts and insults coming from her sons father

She realizes that she doesn't need no low standard negative person in her sons life

Though he may have doubt and anger towards her she knows she made a right decision

To follow through to her goal, sacrifices had to be made

She had so much love towards her son

As a mother bird has so much love towards her hatchlings

She finally knows this gift from God

Was a signal to change her life before it ended

Seeing fake friends which soon were befriended

To show her boy the routes that were right

Which gave her the motivation to fight another night

She was a dedicated independent lion in a field of gazelles

Just know to believe this trouble minded girl

Most definitely had a remarkable upcoming curl
