Trout

Swim, swim, trout swim,
Upstream, the sky is no limit
Fight against the current fight
Against their “no’s”, their “you can not’s”
Take the beating from their rapids that never give in

This was destined to be your route, but you were made to prvail.
You must endure pain beyond belief
The world will strip your scales that gleam and shine
And the world rests on your back

Fight, fight, trout, fight,
Don’t let this drown your dreams
Drive against your hopes

For you are a trout and bloody and messy you will get to the paradise of that calm stream, and your endeavor will pay off a thousand times over.

For you are a trout.
