Trucking along in the Old Folks home

A feeble old man creeping along
Gently humming a musical song
Remembering fine and sparkling ladies
To him it seemed who were too quick with the maybe's.
Now, him without a care in the world save death,
trucking along into the void to his last breath
and beyond.
