True Change

What I would change would be me

I’d be an example for others to see

I wouldn’t complain about inflation

I would not ask for a change to the nation

No protests against pollution

No works against the institution

No I would first start with me

I’d be an example for others to see

Instead of complaining I’d spend my money wisely

Instead of asking I’d stand for liberty

I’d let it be seen that I protect the environment

And show that I support the government

Every change great or small

Starts with one, who bravely stands tall

He does not yell he does not boast

But he changes him, and this changes others most
