True Colors

Time had no importance to me, it was all a living dream, yet a reality. They'd say don't judge a book by its cover, that all those around you were your sisters and brothers. Then came a time, when the clock, defined our lives. When words became lies, and when we feared last goodbyes, in our every day lives. Fitting in, is no longer important to me, I just care about succeeding. Sticking with the same group of people who treat you like a nobody, isn't something for which people know me. I'm kind, honest, and true to myself, which by time I discovered is the key to find happiness itself. I no longer hold myself back from being put down, I say to myself I rather smile and live happy than to spend the rest of my life with a frown. Dont let others define your color, your one and many others.
