True Communication
Dear friend,
I write you knowing your true opinion you'll share
Not spatter words down without thought, love or care
So here are my thoughts, they're simple and yet
I think as humans, we've missed this, it's got me quite in a fret
If one were to cross
Into the realm of true communication
I wonder what we would find
More than a simple salutation
A meaningless compliment
Jubilant words
Boiling over with hidden regret
Where what was meant
Is what they said
Is what they thought
Is what you caught
From the conversation
Where the tone
Alone
Whispers a feeling
As if stealing from the soul
And floating across the abyss
That separates us, humans
On soundwaves
Radiowaves
Saving us from the animalistic hunger
Held off by wonder. Imagination. Knowledge. Learning.
Communication turning into action
What do you think?
