True existence

She lived a good lie
The sun and the moon rose and passed by
The air around her became toxic
Days after days
Nights after nights
Children's voices chanting a lullaby
Aging was a sin
Her lifeless soul was immune to death
Immortality was her only friend

Freedom held a grudge against her
Imprisoned her spirit on this earth
Wandering around pleading for true existence
